Profile
Dr.Mitra is passionately interested in teaching medical students and registrars and is a Lecturer on the Cardiff FRCR Part II course. He is also quite involved with the teaching of medical students at the Brighton & Sussex Medical School.
He is a keen reviewer of the current literature and regularly presents papers at national and international conferences. His special interests include chemotherapy and chemoradiation in lung cancer and chemotherapy in breast cancer. He has an abiding interest in clinical trials and contributes to NCRN trials significantly. He is keen to set up a unit for phase I/II studies in Brighton in a partnership with NHS and Industry.
