Cancer Partners UK support Macmillan Coffee Morning

On Friday 30th September, Cancer Partners UK Little Aston took part in the national Macmillan Coffee Morning campaign to raise awareness and funds for cancer information and support services.

We took the opportunity to invite current and past radiotherapy patients to join the team for refreshments and home-made cakes. This activity raised in excess of £500 while providing a lovely opportunity to follow-up the progress of patients who had attended for treatment since April 2011.

We loved having the opportunity to give back to Macmillan Cancer Support – as we regularly utilise their information resources. It was also a wonderful excuse to eat lots of scrumptious home-made treats!

It was lovely to see everyone looking so well – a remarkable testament to the Intensity Modulated, Image Guided Radiotherapy Treatment which is available through Cancer Partners UK.
