Five years of success

The company is celebrating its fifth anniversary, during which it has treated an impressive 3,750 patients, delivered 71,000 radiotherapy treatments and invested approximately £15.8m in new clinical technology for its patients across the UK.

Africa charity trip success

Cancer Partners UK radiographer, Jacqui Dorney, has returned from a charity trip to Africa where she helped raise awareness of breast cancer symptoms and screen over 800 women.

Jacqui, who has worked with Cancer Partners UK for two years, joined Cancel Cancer Africa which visited the Busia County region on the Kenya/Uganda border.

The charity works in partnership with local doctors and volunteering nurses and ran roadshows educating both women and men about the signs and symptoms of breast cancer, as well as providing details about how to perform self-examinations.

Patients take to catwalk for charity show

Elstree Cancer Centre witnessed glamour and glitz as patients took to the catwalk to raise money for Macmillian Cancer Support and Penny Brohn Cancer Care.

Eleven radiotherapy and chemotherapy patients were supported by friends and family as they modelled casual day and glamorous evening outfits from John Lewis’s autumn collections.
