Profile
Dr Fernando's major areas of interest include breast and gynaelogical cancers. He sits on several national steering committees and is a chairman of one (SECRAB). Dr Fernando is the author of numerous publications and book chapters on breast and gynaecological cancers. In 1996 he was awarded the Frank Ellis medal by the Royal College of Radiologists.
Dr Fernando was recently awarded the Glory of India award for clinical excellence 2010.
