Our vision and values

Cancer Partners UK aims to provide innovative and dynamic services for cancer patients and their families through the UK.

Working in partnership with the independent sector, alongside NHS groups and recognised cancer professionals, we aim to create a network of cancer care centres through a series of joint ventures. These will provide a patient-driven, holistic service delivering radiotherapy and all supportive mechanisms in convenient locations outside of the traditional hospital setting. The Cancer Partners UK centres will treat everyone on an outpatient basis. 

Cancer Partners UK will provide external beam radiotherapy for all types of adult cancer and some benign disease, excluding the following:

• All paediatric and adolescent radiotherapy (under 18 years of age)
• Total body irradiation (TBI)
• Total skin electron treatment (TSE)
• Brachytherapy

Radiotherapy treatment (sometimes including chemotherapy regimes), typically involve an extended series of short, daily visits to a cancer centre within a hospital. We aim to increase the convenience and choice for patients receiving these treatments by building centres throughout the UK, which could make a real difference to those looking to incorporate their cancer care as seamlessly as possible into their everyday routines. By opening centres near to where patients live and work, with good facilities, Cancer Partners UK will make a valuable contribution to cancer care.
